Major Life Milestones: Weddings

Thursday, April 11th at 12:30pm – 1:30pm PST

CoRe Conflict Resolution Society and Mediate BC are partnering to explore major life milestones through a new, free lunch series held online. This series will facilitate conversation and skill development. Individuals will learn to recognize, work through, and resolve conflict.

Our first theme is weddings! Think about your experiences and thoughts surrounding weddings or event planning, what comes to mind?

We will explore challenges and triumphs in resolving conflicts that arise during wedding planning and celebrations. Get ready for insightful discussions, practical tips, and inspiring stories that will help you learn to navigate conflict. We’re starting off strong with Ashley Syer, Julie Daum, and Darsey Meredith sharing their own wedding-related experiences. They’ll open up about the conflicts they have faced and set the stage for an engaging and relatable discussion!

We hope you join us for this exciting series where we dive into the fascinating world of conflict resolution at times of major life changes!

Some questions to consider:

What are some common conflicts that can arise during weddings/wedding planning?

If not weddings, specifically, what are some similar situations that you’ve experienced conflict?

How did you manage this conflict? Would you change anything from your approach?

What are some different strategies that you think would be effective in resolving the conflict?

What was driving the conflict? What factors were contributing to the conflict?

If you wish to attend and you are not a subscriber, please contact us at coreclinic1@gmail.com

*Please note: This is a recorded series. Participants should approach discussion at a level they are comfortable engaging in in a recorded setting and should avoid sharing deeply personal or vulnerable information.
